Social Media Marketing Videos That Turn Attention Into Action
Give people a reason to stop, watch and take the next step
Your customers scroll past hundreds of messages. A social video earns attention when it quickly speaks to a real interest, question or problem—and then rewards the viewer with something useful, believable or memorable.
Shammah Media produces social media marketing videos for businesses, organisations, experts and campaigns in Nairobi and across Kenya. We help you turn products, services, knowledge and customer questions into a planned collection of videos suited to the platforms where your audience spends time.
The result is more than a folder of unrelated clips. Each video has a specific audience, message and next action. Formats, filming days and editing versions are planned together so your team can publish consistently without sacrificing quality or brand control.

Social videos for every stage of the customer journey

Short vertical videos and reels
Capture attention with a clear opening, mobile-first framing and readable captions. These concise videos can introduce a problem, demonstrate a result, answer a question or lead viewers toward an enquiry, visit or purchase.

Product and service videos
Show what you offer, how it works and why it matters. Real demonstrations, close product details, customer scenarios and process footage help people understand the value before they contact you.

Educational and expert videos
Turn your team's knowledge into focused explanations, tips and answers. A repeatable expert series can build recognition and trust while giving customers useful guidance in a format that is easy to share.

YouTube videos
Develop longer explainers, interviews, demonstrations and episodic content with a strong structure. Titles, opening, chapters, supporting visuals and the viewer's next step are considered as part of the production.

Testimonials and customer stories
Let real customers describe their experience in their own words. The filming and edit provide context without turning a prepared marketing script into a supposedly spontaneous recommendation.

Event and behind-the-scenes content
Show the people, preparation and moments around your organisation. Social coverage can be planned alongside event video production when you also need a complete highlights film.
Build a content system instead of chasing random trends
Trends can offer a useful creative format, but they should not decide your whole strategy. A strong content plan begins with the questions customers ask, the objections that delay a decision, the proof they need and the stories only your organisation can tell.
We organise those ideas into themes. A photography company might use service explainers, preparation advice, behind-the-scenes moments and client education. A professional firm may focus on expert answers, common mistakes and practical case scenarios. A product brand can combine demonstrations, comparisons, use ideas and customer experiences.
Each theme supports a stage of the customer journey. Awareness content introduces the problem or point of view. Consideration content explains, demonstrates and answers objections. Decision content clarifies the offer, process and next step. This balance prevents every video from feeling like the same sales pitch.

From content idea to publish-ready videos
We identify the person each video is meant to reach, what that person should understand and the next reasonable step. Views can be useful, but the purpose may be an enquiry, visit, click, save, share or informed decision.
Customer questions, offers, expertise, evidence and campaign priorities become a content list. Each idea is matched to a platform, format and role in the customer journey.
Depending on the speaker and topic, we use exact scripts, guided talking points, interviews or demonstrations. Presenters, locations, products, wardrobe, props and alternative calls to action are organised before the shoot.
We capture mobile-first framing, strong openings, clean sound, supporting footage and the versions identified in the brief. Important subjects and text are not left to accidental cropping later.
The videos are shaped with the agreed graphics, sound, music and captions. Your content owner consolidates product, factual and brand feedback before the publication deadline.
Approved files are named for the intended platform or version. If publishing, scheduling or performance reporting is required, those responsibilities and secure account-access arrangements must be explicitly included.
Open with relevance—not an empty promise
The first moments of a social video should tell the right viewer why it is worth continuing. A clear problem, useful question, specific result, visual demonstration or informed opinion can create interest without resorting to clickbait.
The rest of the video must deliver what the opening promises. A dramatic claim followed by a weak explanation may gain a few views while damaging trust. Prices, results, product benefits and comparisons should remain accurate, with important conditions visible rather than hidden in a caption.
We can record more than one opening where the same core video will be tested or adapted for different audiences. The opening changes, but the underlying message and evidence remain consistent.
Choose a delivery style that feels natural
Some presenters are strongest with a precise script. Others communicate better through guided talking points or an interview. Product videos may need a demonstration rather than a person speaking directly to camera.
We choose the method around the speaker, subject and level of factual control required. The presenter should understand the meaning and audience instead of reciting unfamiliar marketing language. Experts may work with an interviewer who helps turn detailed knowledge into concise, accessible explanations.
Names, offers, dates, product claims and calls to action require current approval. When a video will have several versions, alternative lines can be recorded during the same session.
Design for mobile, captions and sound-off viewing
Many people encounter social videos on a phone and may begin watching without sound. Important meaning should therefore appear visually as well as in the spoken message where appropriate. Captions help with accessibility, comprehension and silent viewing.
Text must remain readable and clear of interface elements. Platform layouts and specifications change, so the final version plan should use current official guidance at the time of production rather than a permanently fixed template.
For multilingual campaigns, choose separate spoken versions, subtitles, translated graphics or a combination. A fluent reviewer should check terminology and context before publication.
Plan every format before the camera starts
A vertical reel, square paid advert and longer YouTube video may share a filming day, but they do not automatically share the same composition or story. List the orientation, duration, language and call to action required for each destination.
Cropping a horizontal master can remove the speaker, product or vital text. We plan framing and clean alternatives so each version feels intentional. Clear file names also prevent the wrong price, link, language or expired offer from being published.
If your campaign also needs a broadcast master, see our TV commercial production . Larger brand films and planned productions can begin with our video production service
Make a batch shoot work harder
Batching several videos can reduce repeated setup and help your brand publish consistently. It works best when the content shares a presenter, location, visual style, lighting and production requirements.
A useful content day begins with approved ideas and a realistic schedule. We can prioritise the most important or difficult pieces while experts, products and locations are available, then capture supporting shots and alternative calls to action. Changes in wardrobe or background can create visual variety between topics.
Batching is not an excuse to rush repetitive content. Every video should answer a distinct question or serve a clear campaign purpose. A smaller collection of strong, relevant videos is more valuable than a large batch your audience has no reason to watch.
Use testimonials and demonstrations honestly
Product demonstrations should show normal, safe and approved use. Comparative claims, before-and-after material and customer results need suitable evidence and context. One person’s result should not be presented as a guaranteed outcome for everyone.
Testimonial participants should understand where the video will appear and whether it may be used in paid advertising. Their contribution should reflect their real experience. Any relationship or incentive should be disclosed where relevant requirements apply.
Educational videos involving health, law, finance, safety or another high-stakes subject need review by your qualified expert. Shammah Media can make the information clear and visually engaging, but does not validate specialist advice by assumption.
Organic content and paid social advertising
Organic social content builds familiarity through consistent usefulness, relevance or entertainment. Paid advertising uses targeting, media spend and platform review to reach selected audiences. One creative may support both, but licensing, claims, format and the opening may need to differ.
Tell us before filming if the videos will run as advertisements. Talent, music and third-party assets may require paid-media usage, and restricted categories can have additional platform rules. Media buying, account management, targeting and advertising budget are not included in video production unless expressly scoped.
No producer can guarantee virality, follower growth, reach, enquiries or sales. Results also depend on the offer, audience targeting, distribution, account history, media spend, publishing, landing experience and market conditions.
Social media video production pricing in Kenya
Pricing depends on the complete content batch: strategy and topic development, scripts, presenters, locations, filming time, product or props, number of edited videos, duration, orientations, captions, graphics, languages, music and review requirements.
A per-video figure can be misleading. Ten straightforward expert answers filmed in one setup are different from ten product stories using several locations, actors and demonstrations. Share the expected quantity and production style when comparing quotations.
Our current planning terms use a 14-day quotation validity period, a 50% booking deposit and one consolidated review round. Travel outside Nairobi is quoted separately, and digital working files are normally retained for 90 days. Your signed quotation takes priority wherever different terms are agreed.
