How we plan your photography
Send the photography type, date, location, expected timing and intended use. For an event, include the programme and the moments or people that matter most. For portraits or property, tell us how many people or spaces are involved.
We review availability and send a quotation based on the agreed coverage, deliverables, location and logistics. Travel and accommodation may be quoted separately where the assignment requires them.
We confirm practical details before the booking date. Depending on the project, this can include the timeline, venue access, shot priorities, wardrobe or background choices, brand references, weather alternatives and the person coordinating people on site.
On the day, the agreed priorities guide our work while still allowing us to respond to natural interactions and important moments as they happen.
We select and edit the agreed collection, then share it using the delivery method confirmed for your project. Shammah Media’s normal photography turnaround is two to four weeks . A different deadline, including rush delivery, must be agreed before booking.
For weddings and private celebrations
Share the final programme, addresses, important family combinations and any cultural or personal moment that deserves particular attention. Let us know who can help gather relatives for group photographs and whether the ceremony or venue has restrictions on movement, flash or photography positions.
Allow realistic travel time when preparations, the ceremony, portraits and reception take place at different locations. If the schedule changes, tell us as soon as possible so that we can explain what can still be covered within the booked time.
For conferences and events
Send the agenda, venue plan, branding priorities and names or roles of key speakers before the event. Identify an organiser who can make quick decisions on site and advise us of sessions that are private, restricted or especially important.
If images are needed for a same-day press release or social update, specify the number and deadline when requesting the quotation. This is different from delivery of the complete edited gallery and requires advance planning.
For corporate portraits and headshots
Decide where the images will appear and whether the team needs a uniform background, consistent crops or a more natural workplace setting. Confirm the participant list and create a realistic timetable, with a little flexibility for people arriving late or needing a second frame.
Share brand colours or visual references if the photographs must fit an existing website or campaign. Participants should receive wardrobe and arrival guidance early enough to prepare without rushing on the day.
For property photography
